This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Monitor shared email inbox for incoming vendor invoices and statements</li><li>Print and organize invoice files</li><li>Enter vendor invoices into Acctivate / QuickBooks accurately and timely</li><li>Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents when applicable</li><li>Verify pricing, quantities, and vendor terms</li><li>Follow up internally regarding missing approvals or discrepancies</li><li>Assist with vendor statement reconciliations as needed</li><li>Support accounting team with other clerical and data entry tasks as needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous accounting clerk, AP, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred</li><li>Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks / Acctivate a plus (training available)</li><li>Proficient with email, PDF files, and Microsoft Excel</li><li>Reliable, organized, and able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently</li><li>Strong communication skills and professionalism</li><li>Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in 10 key typing and double entry bookkeeping.</li><li>Basic math skills combined with strong organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
