Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is essential for accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective accounting for inventory, COGS, and revenue in a high-volume eCommerce setting.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in inventory accounting, month-end close, and NetSuite, thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. 


Key Tasks and Duties:
<ul>
<li>Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations in line with US GAAP.</li>
<li>Reconcile credit card deposits, record customer payments, and review AP payment runs.</li>
<li>Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger; monitor inventory in transit, landed costs, and purchase price variances.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the sales team on customer invoice adjustments, credit memos, sales tax exemptions, and refunds.</li>
<li>Review and process customer sales tax exemption certificates; approve sales tax returns and manage state sales tax notices.</li>
<li>Support the AP coordinator and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.</li></ul> 


Required:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance</li>
<li>4&ndash;7+ years of accounting experience</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills</li>
<li>NetSuite experience preferred</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>CPA or CPA candidate</li>
<li>NetSuite experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer products</li>
</ul>
