Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is essential for accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and effective accounting for inventory, COGS, and revenue in a high-volume eCommerce setting.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in inventory accounting, month-end close, and NetSuite, thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Tasks and Duties:

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations in line with US GAAP.
• Reconcile credit card deposits, record customer payments, and review AP payment runs.
• Reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger; monitor inventory in transit, landed costs, and purchase price variances.
• Collaborate with the sales team on customer invoice adjustments, credit memos, sales tax exemptions, and refunds.
• Review and process customer sales tax exemption certificates; approve sales tax returns and manage state sales tax notices.
• Support the AP coordinator and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4–7+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• NetSuite experience preferred

Preferred:

• CPA or CPA candidate
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer products
