<Job Summary>
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. <Responsibilities>
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and cash flow analysis to monitor liquidity and financial stability.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accrual accounting, and financial report writing.
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks and Google Drive Dispatch Spreadsheets, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing technical accounting knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
<Requirements>
- Proven experience in corporate or public accounting with strong knowledge of GAAP and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms; experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports and conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow analysis and budget variance analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: $59,076.43 - $71,145.80 per year
