A Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing, and analyzing complex financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key duties include managing month-end close, performing reconciliations, overseeing staff accountants, and assisting with audits.Responsibilities<ul><li>Financial Reporting &amp; Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards</li><li>General Ledger &amp; Reconciliations: Perform, review, and reconcile complex accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets.</li><li>Month-End Close: Lead or assist in the month-end close process, preparing and posting journal entries for accruals, depreciation, and payroll.</li><li>Audit &amp; Tax Support: Assist with internal and external audits, prepare tax returns for group company, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.</li><li>Budgeting &amp; Cash Management: Monitor budgets, analyze financial variances, and perform cash management functions.</li><li>Senior Accountant to manage a group of F&amp;B businesses on a daily basis.</li><li>Monthly P&amp;L</li><li>Day to day reconciliations</li><li>And other tasks</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: BD350.000 - BD450.000 per monthWork Location: In person

This role is not limited to one caf&eacute; &mdash; you will work across multiple brands and concepts, helping bring fresh ideas, viral products, and innovative experiences into our businesses. You will play a major role in brainstorming and developing new product concepts, identifying international F&amp;B trends before they hit the local market, supporting content creation, writing engaging captions, collaborating closely with the social media and marketing teams, and continuously thinking outside the box to keep our brands relevant, exciting, and ahead of the competition.The candidate should also have strong experience in sourcing and ordering products online, especially in bulk quantities from manufacturers and suppliers. Part of the role includes handling branded merchandise and giveaway items that strengthen brand identity and customer engagement, such as tumblers, mugs, keychains, pens, packaging accessories, and other creative promotional items. The ideal person should be familiar with finding unique products, communicating with suppliers, comparing quality and pricing, and managing orders efficiently to bring creative branding ideas to life.Pay: BD300.000 - BD500.000 per monthWork Location: In person
