F&B Senior Accountant (Bahraini only)

A Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing, and analyzing complex financial reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key duties include managing month-end close, performing reconciliations, overseeing staff accountants, and assisting with audits.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Perform, review, and reconcile complex accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets.
• Month-End Close: Lead or assist in the month-end close process, preparing and posting journal entries for accruals, depreciation, and payroll.
• Audit & Tax Support: Assist with internal and external audits, prepare tax returns for group company, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Budgeting & Cash Management: Monitor budgets, analyze financial variances, and perform cash management functions.
• Senior Accountant to manage a group of F&B businesses on a daily basis.
• Monthly P&L
• Day to day reconciliations
• And other tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD350.000 - BD450.000 per month
