Our boutique comprehensive dental practice is built around three core principles: Health, Function, and Aesthetics.We are seeking a highly skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to become the doctor's primary clinical partner. This is a practice where quality is prioritized over quantity and where every patient receives a personalized experience.Our doctor is a highly respected clinician and sought-after speaker who attracts patients from across the country seeking cosmetic, restorative, implant, and comprehensive dental care.Qualifications:<ul><li>Holds an active Maryland EFDA certification</li><li>Has extensive chairside experience in restorative, cosmetic, implant, and surgical dentistry</li><li>Understands occlusion and restorative principles</li><li>Has experience with veneers, temporaries, digital dentistry, and scanning technology</li><li>Thinks critically and solves problems independently</li><li>Is confident, professional, and comfortable engaging in clinical discussions, problem-solving, and collaborative treatment planning</li><li>Maintains a polished professional appearance and communicates with warmth, confidence, and professionalism</li><li>Thinks ahead, anticipates needs, and thrives in a high-level clinical environment</li><li>Takes ownership of their role and holds themselves to a high standard</li><li>Values teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning</li><li>Demonstrates a strong understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection control standards</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist with cosmetic, restorative, implant, and surgical procedures</li><li>Support veneer and smile transformation cases</li><li>Fabricate and adjust provisional restorations</li><li>Pack cord and assist with advanced restorative procedures</li><li>Capture high-quality digital scans for restorative and aligner treatment</li><li>Maintain efficient clinical workflows and treatment room readiness</li><li>Provide an elevated patient experience from start to finish</li><li>Collaborate closely with the doctor and team to ensure exceptional outcomes</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday - Wednesday 8:30 - 5:30pm</li><li>Thursday 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM</li><li>Occasional Fridays as needed</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits:<ul><li>$28-$35/hour based on experience</li><li>Medical stipend</li><li>Paid vacation</li><li>Personal time</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Uniforms provided</li><li>CE opportunities</li><li>401(k) with up to 4% employer match</li><li>Supplemental insurance</li></ul>This position is ideal for an experienced EFDA who enjoys advanced dentistry, values professionalism, and wants to serve as a true clinical partner in a high-performing, patient-centered practice.Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hourApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Do you currently hold an active Maryland EFDA certification?</li><li>How many years of dental assisting experience do you have?</li><li>How many years of experience do you have assisting with implant procedures?</li><li>Are you comfortable fabricating temporary crowns and/or veneers?</li><li>Are you experienced with intraoral scanning and digital workflows?</li><li>Describe your experience with cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry.</li><li>What does being a doctor's clinical partner mean to you?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
