Job OverviewWe are seeking a dental assistant to join our dental implant center. We are a busy prosthodontic practice focused on treating patients who are already without teeth or are facing the loss of their remaining teeth. Our services primarily include dentures, overdentures, and implant-supported restorations (All-on-4). We also provide full-mouth rehabs, implant-supported crown and bridges, and esthetic cases. We have surgical and restorative teams.As we expand our team, your role will involve supporting both the surgical and restorative teams, based on clinical needs. This position requires a strong level of comfort in a surgical environment. Assistants should be prepared to be present for procedures involving fully flapped ridge, extractions, bone recontouring, implant placement, grafting and suturing. If you are not comfortable with this level of surgical exposure, this position may not be the right fit for youWhat You&rsquo;ll Do:&middot; Share equally in all procedures &amp; all other basic tasks with 3 other assistants&middot; Prepare surgical suites and restorative rooms for procedures&middot; Take radiographs, scans, CBCT, and assist with digital workflow&middot; Assist the doctor in surgical or restorative procedures&middot; Take comprehensive clinical notes&middot; Maintain proper sterilization of instruments &amp; ensure they are stored in their designated area&middot; Use the latest technologies. Training will be provided, but the ability to learn quickly &amp; become proficient is essential&middot; Provide exceptional patient care before, during and after proceduresWhat We&rsquo;re Looking For:&middot; Excellent communication and teamwork skills&middot; Moderate to advanced computer skills&middot; Comfortable assisting in large surgeries&middot; Teachable&middot; Organized &amp; detail-orientedLicense/Certification:&middot; X-Ray Certification (Required)Compensation &amp; Benefits&middot; $24 to $28 per hour (DOE)&middot; Paid Time Off&middot; Paid Sick Time&middot; Paid major holidays&middot; Simple IRA (matching)&middot; Employee Discount&middot; Profit SharingAbout Our Practice:We are a team of two prosthodontists and one periodontist specializing in dental implants, with a particular focus on full-arch implant-supported restorations.
