Dental Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dental assistant to join our dental implant center. We are a busy prosthodontic practice focused on treating patients who are already without teeth or are facing the loss of their remaining teeth. Our services primarily include dentures, overdentures, and implant-supported restorations (All-on-4). We also provide full-mouth rehabs, implant-supported crown and bridges, and esthetic cases. We have surgical and restorative teams.

As we expand our team, your role will involve supporting both the surgical and restorative teams, based on clinical needs. This position requires a strong level of comfort in a surgical environment. Assistants should be prepared to be present for procedures involving fully flapped ridge, extractions, bone recontouring, implant placement, grafting and suturing. If you are not comfortable with this level of surgical exposure, this position may not be the right fit for you

What You’ll Do:

· Share equally in all procedures & all other basic tasks with 3 other assistants

· Prepare surgical suites and restorative rooms for procedures

· Take radiographs, scans, CBCT, and assist with digital workflow

· Assist the doctor in surgical or restorative procedures

· Take comprehensive clinical notes

· Maintain proper sterilization of instruments & ensure they are stored in their designated area

· Use the latest technologies. Training will be provided, but the ability to learn quickly & become proficient is essential

· Provide exceptional patient care before, during and after procedures

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Moderate to advanced computer skills

· Comfortable assisting in large surgeries

· Teachable

· Organized & detail-oriented

License/Certification:

· X-Ray Certification (Required)

Compensation & Benefits

· $24 to $28 per hour (DOE)

We are a team of two prosthodontists and one periodontist specializing in dental implants, with a particular focus on full-arch implant-supported restorations. We have built an exceptional team that works well together, and we are committed to maintaining that standard. In addition to our clinical practice, our owners operate an in-house lab that supports our cases as well as clients across the country. As specialists in full-arch treatment, we maintain a very high level of care, arguably one of the best clinics in the country for this type of treatment.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
