This position offers an engaging opportunity to serve your community while developing valuable driving skills in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport passengers.</li><li>Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.</li><li>Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, and healthcare providers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly.</li><li>Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure passenger safety and compliance.</li><li>Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading mobility aids or luggage while prioritizing safety and efficiency.</li><li>Provide stretcher transportation.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous NEMT driver experience is preferred, but not necessary.</li><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members.</li><li>Familiarity with paratransit services or non-emergency medical transportation operations is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assist passengers safely during daily operations.</li><li>Join us in delivering dependable transportation that enhances mobility and independence for our community members!</li></ul>Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Work Location: In person
