In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. If you thrive on solving complex mechanical challenges and delivering top-tier service, we want to hear from you!Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough diagnostics using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electrical testing to identify mechanical or electrical issues in diesel engines and heavy equipment</li><li>Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, shocks &amp; struts, HVAC systems, and other critical components</li><li>Fabricate parts or modifications using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to ensure optimal equipment performance</li><li>Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, brake repairs, and suspension work to maintain safety standards</li><li>Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform precise repairs on complex machinery</li><li>Assist in assembly or disassembly of heavy equipment during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety protocols</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance tasks regularly to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan</li><li>Operate heavy machinery safely during repair procedures when necessary</li><li>Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven mechanic experience with a focus on diesel engine repair and heavy equipment maintenance</li><li>Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics</li><li>Not a must but a plus if you are Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; experienced with power tools and hand tools</li><li>Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical issues</li><li>Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures in a workshop environment</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement</li></ul>Join us as a Diesel Mechanic if you're passionate about maintaining and fixing diesels and reg auto through expert diagnostics and repairs.
