This position is perfect for motivated NPs eager to advance their clinical skills while working in a supportive, innovative setting committed to excellence.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history reviews specific to rheumatologic conditions</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative therapies such as Botulinum toxin treatments when appropriate</li><li>Manage medication administration, including injections and IV infusions, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols</li><li>Perform diagnostic assessments using EMR systems like Epic and Athenahealth to document findings accurately and efficiently</li><li>Educate patients on disease management, medication usage, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care strategies</li><li>Assist with clinical research initiatives aimed at improving rheumatology treatments and patient outcomes</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and specialists in acute care settings, including hospital and ICU environments, to coordinate complex patient care plans</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic and ECW for documentation and clinical workflows</li><li>Efficiently able to type (type speed) notes to finish in timely manner and complete tasks in EMR</li><li>Rheumatology Experience is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to rheumatology.</li><li>Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for accurate medical documentation and billing processes</li><li>Experience working across diverse healthcare settings such as outpatient clinics.</li><li>Ability to manage triage calls effectively and provide acute pain management or urgent care interventions when necessary</li><li>Competence in telehealth platforms for remote consultations and follow-up visits</li><li>Excellent patient care skills with a focus on behavioral health support for individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Examine patients and their medical records.</li><li>Part-time and Full time Position negotiable</li><li>Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays, etc.).</li><li>Diagnose and propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases.</li><li>Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments.</li><li>Maintain accurate records and schedules.</li><li>Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications.</li><li>Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans.</li><li>Oversee patients&rsquo; overall health and promote good health practices.</li><li>Advance professional knowledge and conduct research.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the collaborating physician.</li></ul>This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your broad skill set in a fast-paced environment dedicated to advancing rheumatologic health.
