As a key contributor, you will troubleshoot, service, and repair refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and commercial food equipment helping to uphold safety standards and operational excellence.Duties<ul><li>Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units and HVAC/R equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately.</li><li>Conduct routine inspections of mechanical components such as boilers, pumps, valves, and piping to prevent system failures.</li><li>Utilize field service skills to troubleshoot electrical controls using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters for precise diagnostics.</li><li>Repair or replace mechanical parts through welding, equipment repair techniques, or plumbing adjustments to restore system functionality.</li><li>Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and system conditions.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to property maintenance, appliance repair, and refrigerant handling procedures.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC design, construction practices, and property maintenance.</li><li>Proven service technician experience with refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.</li><li>Ability to read schematics accurately and apply technical knowledge effectively in field service situations.</li><li>Skilled in plumbing repairs and welding techniques necessary for system modifications or emergency repairs.</li><li>Familiarity with HVAC/R standards and regulations; experience with property maintenance is a plus.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean record; experience operating &lt;PERSON&gt; drivers preferred for on-site travel.</li><li>Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting; capable of performing appliance repair efficiently.</li><li>Mechanical experience involving boiler operation or mechanic work enhances your suitability for this role.
