Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Posted on 10/10/2025The Electrical Technician will be responsible for executing electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works on-site. This role supports engineers and supervisors in ensuring electrical systems and equipment are installed and maintained safely, accurately, and according to project standards. Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Execute electrical installation works, including: Cable pulling and termination (LV/MV systems).</li><li>Installation of switchgear, panels, and distribution boards.</li><li>Installation of lighting, power outlets, and small power systems.</li><li>Installation of earthing and lightning protection systems.</li><li>Support installation of specialized equipment such as robotics, conveyors, and manufacturing machinery.</li><li>Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests on electrical systems.</li><li>Assist engineers during functional testing and commissioning of electrical systems.</li><li>Calibrate and test protective devices, including breakers, relays, and sensors.</li><li>Diagnose and repair electrical faults in equipment and building systems.</li><li>Replace defective components such as wires, breakers, motors, and sensors.</li><li>Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems.</li><li>Follow Saudi Labor Law, SEC regulations, NFPA, and IEC standards.</li><li>Adhere to Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems.</li><li>Use proper PPE and tools to ensure safe working conditions.</li><li>Record daily installation activities, test results, and as-built details.</li><li>Update red-line drawings for final as-built submission.</li></ul> Future Use Suitable for facility operation & maintenance (O&M) teams or field installation teams in contracting projects.
