Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled clinical-based Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will gather and document vitals and pertinent histories on patients, facilitate both in-person and tele-health visits on a bi-weekly basis, coordinate surgical procedures and schedules, manage the lifecycle of a patient's care, have the opportunity to work in procedures in our surgery center, and ensure seamless communication among multidisciplinary teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an environment where your clinical skills and organizational talents will make a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives.Responsibilities At a Glance<ul><li>Coordinate and lead in person OR tele-health visits and input physician orders on a bi-weekly basis</li><li>Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems and keep patients charts up to date</li><li>Facilitate communication between patients, families, healthcare teams, and physicians to ensure treatment plans are carried out</li><li>Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to develop individualized procedure plans</li><li>Create surgical scheduling based on visits</li><li>Check patients readiness for surgery/procedures</li><li>Conduct pre-operative phone calls</li><li>Manage patient care during the perioperative period, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining aseptic technique</li><li>Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up assessments to promote recovery and address complications promptly</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols throughout all patient interactions</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid RN license with current state licensure required; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) are essential</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques</li><li>Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems</li><li>Ability to perform IV insertions, venipuncture, suturing, tube feeding management, and catheter care confidently</li><li>Excellent patient assessment skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Experience in cardiology is highly desirable</li><li>Interest/ experience in working in surgery is highly desirable</li></ul>Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have an RN license?</li><li>Do you have experience in being a clinic RN?</li><li>Do you have experience in Cardiology?
