This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in banking and customer engagement within a supportive environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Process a variety of banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and handling debits and credits using financial software and cash management systems</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding clients through banking products and services</li><li>Assist customers with account openings, loan applications, and loan processing procedures while explaining terms clearly and professionally</li><li>Identify opportunities for upselling financial products such as savings accounts, credit cards, or loans to meet customer needs and enhance their banking experience</li><li>Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols during cash handling and transaction processing</li><li>Maintain precise records of all transactions, including 10 key typing tasks and retail math calculations to ensure accuracy in cash management</li><li>Foster strong relationships with clients through relationship management techniques, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and trust</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of banking operations, including cash handling, cashiering, debits &amp; credits, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically in diverse situations</li><li>Proven experience in financial sales, upselling, and customer relationship management to promote banking products effectively</li><li>Familiarity with financial services software systems and cash management tools to streamline daily tasks</li><li>Ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity through attentive monitoring and adherence to security procedures</li><li>Competence in loan origination processes and supporting clients through loan applications and documentation procedures</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, record keeping, and compliance requirements</li></ul>This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in banking while making a positive impact on customers' financial journeys.
