To maintain and continuously improve the quality management system (QMS) so the calibration lab consistently produces technically valid, traceable, and reliable results in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.Quality Management System (QMS) Control<ul><li>Maintain the ISO 17025 quality manual, procedures, and forms.</li><li>Ensure all documents are controlled, current, and properly approved.</li></ul>Internal Audits &amp; Corrective Actions<ul><li>Identify nonconformities, and respond to corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), as and when needed.</li></ul>3. Proficiency Testing &amp; Interlaboratory Comparisons<ul><li>Coordinate proficiency testing (PT) and interlaboratory comparisons (ILC) for each calibration discipline.</li><li>Review PT/ILC results and handle any outliers or unsatisfactory performance through corrective actions.</li></ul>4. Control of Nonconforming Work<ul><li>Manage any cases where calibration results may be invalid or questionable.</li><li>Ensure affected customers are notified and proper steps (retesting, recalls) are taken.</li></ul>5. Equipment &amp; Calibration Traceability<ul><li>Verify all lab reference standards and measuring instruments are:</li><li>Calibrated on schedule,</li><li>Traceable to national or international standards (SI units), and</li><li>Have calibration certificates reviewed for validity and uncertainty.</li><li>Maintain equipment calibration status records.</li></ul>6. Measurement Uncertainty &amp; Method Validation<ul><li>Review or approve uncertainty budgets for calibration procedures.</li><li>Participate in or verify method validation or verification studies.</li><li>Ensure methods are fit for purpose and documented.</li></ul>7. Training &amp; Competence<ul><li>Maintain competence records for all technical staff.</li><li>Organize training, skill verification, and authorization for specific calibration scopes.</li><li>Ensure staff are familiar with relevant ISO 17025 clauses.</li></ul>8. Quality Control (QC) Checks<ul><li>Oversee intermediate checks, repeatability tests, and reference standard verifications.</li><li>Ensure ongoing monitoring of measurement validity.</li></ul>9. Customer Feedback &amp; Complaints<ul><li>Collect and review customer feedback.</li><li>Investigate complaints and document actions taken.</li></ul>10. Management Reviews<ul><li>Prepare data for annual management reviews, including:</li><li>Audit results</li><li>PT/ILC outcomes</li><li>Complaints</li><li>QC data</li><li>Improvement activities</li><li>Draft management review minutes and track actions.</li></ul>11. Accreditation &amp; External Audits<ul><li>Act as the main contact with accreditation bodies.</li><li>Prepare for and coordinate external assessments.</li><li>Ensure prompt closure of any nonconformities raised by assessors.</li></ul>12.
