Job Responsibility
1. Lead and oversee the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) department across all laboratories, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory, and international standards such as ISO, the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC), and Saudi Aramco.
2. Supervise daily operations and delegate tasks within the team, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals in the fields of quality, safety, health, and environment.
3. Design, develop, and update QHSE systems in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan, while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and approved regulations.
4. Formulate and implement clear QHSE strategies and objectives that contribute to enhancing overall laboratory performance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
5. Define and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor ongoing performance and take corrective actions when needed, in coordination with senior management.
6. Promote a strong culture of safety and quality at all organizational levels through awareness campaigns, training programs, and continuous motivational initiatives.
7. Review incidents and emergency cases, ensuring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence and maintain a safe and risk-free work environment.
8. Develop and regularly update emergency response and crisis management plans, and conduct drills across all work sites to ensure full readiness and effective response.
9. Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring a balance between performance quality and efficient use of available financial resources.
10. Actively contribute to the recruitment, training, and technical development of team members, enhancing their capability to perform duties with high professionalism and efficiency.
11. Establish strong collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities, to ensure compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
12. Analyze incident and non-conformance data, identify trends and root causes, and propose continuous improvement opportunities to support overall lab performance.
13. Provide administrative and technical support to remote branches and field sites, ensuring consistent implementation of QHSE policies and procedures across all locations.
14. Participate in the organization’s strategic planning efforts by integrating quality and safety objectives into the company’s long-term vision and business goals.
15. Review PT/ILC results and ensure timely corrective actions where required.
16. Ensure proper authority and formal delegation to address and correct deviations and nonconformities, while overseeing the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions to maintain the integrity and continual improvement of the management system.
