Overview Join our Ripple Cafe team as a Front Cashier or Barista, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every customer. In this dynamic role, you&rsquo;ll be the friendly face that greets guests, expertly handles transactions, and crafts delicious beverages.Your attention to detail and passion for service will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring each visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, customer service, and retail operations within a lively caf&eacute; environment.HOURS OF OPERATION<ul><li>7am - 3pm. Extending to 6pm</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service while taking orders efficiently at the POS (Point of Sale) system.</li><li>Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, using proper food safety and food preparation standards.</li><li>Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math to give correct change.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food handling stations and serving counters.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.</li><li>Assist with food service tasks such as food prep or replenishing supplies during busy periods to support smooth operations.</li><li>Manage time effectively to balance customer service with operational duties during peak hours.</li><li>Support team members by sharing knowledge of products, sales techniques, and customer preferences to enhance sales opportunities.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required</li><li>Experience in food service or retail environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and accurate cash handling.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a caf&eacute; or food industry setting.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
