HOURS OF OPERATION

• 7am - 3pm. Extending to 6pm

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service while taking orders efficiently at the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, using proper food safety and food preparation standards.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math to give correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and serving counters.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with food service tasks such as food prep or replenishing supplies during busy periods to support smooth operations.
• Manage time effectively to balance customer service with operational duties during peak hours.
• Support team members by sharing knowledge of products, sales techniques, and customer preferences to enhance sales opportunities.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required
• Experience in food service or retail environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and accurate cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
