<div>POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures the building(s), equipment, and facility grounds are maintained in accordance with state, federal, and company policies

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Performs minor to major repairs and supervises the day-to-day repair, improvement, and preventative maintenance of the building(s), equipment, lawn, and grounds</li>
<li>Arranges for and manages outside repairs, maintenance, and construction services according to facility procedures</li>
<li>Maintains required records, manages budgets and supplies</li>
<li>Conducts in-service training sessions about the building, safety and disaster planning, as needed</li>
<li>Supervises maintenance personnel (if any) and schedules adequate coverage, as appropriate. Assigns duties and evaluates work performance, as necessary</li>
<li>Must be on call at all times unless prior arrangements have been made with the executive director</li>
<li>Manages contract compliance as pertains to maintenance services</li>
<li>Performs routine checks on major systems such as auxiliary generator, fire alarms, door alarms, nurse call system, and department equipment</li>
<li>Conducts periodic inspections of the building</li>
<li>Maintain emergency generator according to facility policy and regulations</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as required or requested</li>
