We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join our team as an independent contractor.Position OverviewThe Contract Psychiatrist will provide supervisory TMS evaluation and treatment services. This is a flexible, low-volume role ideal for a psychiatrist interested in part-time consulting work in a supportive outpatient setting. Some of the duties would be virtual/telehealth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform TMS consultations/ evaluations for patients being considered for TMS treatment (in-person or via telehealth, depending on insurance requirements).</li><li>Provide diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and medical appropriateness determinations for TMS candidacy.</li><li>Be available for periodic consultation on clinical cases involving TMS patients.</li><li>Complete documentation in compliance with clinic standards, regulatory requirements, and payer guidelines.</li><li>Conduct periodic chart reviews as needed for quality assurance and medical oversight.</li><li>Complete required Neurostar clinical training</li><li>Complete credentialing with River Road TMS, LLC (paid for by practice)</li><li>Collaborate with the NP owner and clinical team to ensure safe and effective delivery of TMS services.</li><li>Maintain active communication and uphold professional practice standards as an independent contractor.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Board Certification in Psychiatry (MD) required.</li><li>Active, unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.</li><li>Experience with TMS preferred but not required&mdash;training can be provided.</li><li>Comfort working collaboratively with nurse practitioners in a team-based care model.</li><li>Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to provide services as a 1099 independent contractor.</li></ul>Schedule &amp; Compensation<ul><li>Flexible schedule; evaluations typically scheduled in advance.</li><li>Estimated workload: [example: 2&ndash;6 evaluations per month + intermittent consult availability], time committment approximately 2-6 hours per month</li><li>Competitive contract rate based on experience and time commitment.</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease send your CV and a brief statement of interest to: carleen@riverroadtms.com804-250-9557Job Type: ContractPay: $200.00 - $300.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, VA 23230
