Role Summary:

The Rivian Supply Chain team is looking for highly motivated and exceptional Purchasing professionals to bring Rivian&rsquo;s engineered products to life. In this role, the Senior Global Supply Manager will be responsible for sourcing and managing parts that make up the building blocks of the R1T, R1S, R2, R3 and Electric Delivery Vehicles. As a Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the awarding of new business, developing strong supplier relationships, and working side by side with our engineering counterparts to push the envelope of our technical requirements. You will also take the lead in making sure Rivian can meet its cost targets, suppliers deliver to our aggressive timelines, and parts are received at the highest level of quality. In our team, we expect our people to own every aspect of the sourcing process from start to finish and everything in between. This role reports to the wire harness &amp; connector Purchasing Group Manager onsite in Irvine, CA.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Responsible for managing sourcing for Power Distribution commodities (wire harnesses harness &amp; wire harness subcomponents)</li><li>
Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, market conditions, and technology roadmaps</li><li>
Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers on NDA&rsquo;s, General Terms &amp; Conditions and Production Supply Agreements</li><li>
Work closely with engineering teams to develop technology Rivian roadmap in conjunction with the sourcing strategy</li><li>
Identify potential suppliers, analyze capabilities and develop a sourcing strategy and roadmap for Rivian stakeholders</li><li>
Perform detailed analysis of quote submissions based on cost breakdown form data</li><li>
Using analytical skills to drive &amp; implement cost reductions on prototype and production vehicles through leveraged negotiations to achieve vehicle cost targets</li><li>
Manage supplier relationships and performance through key performance metrics</li><li>
Review Engineering, Design &amp; Development (ED&amp;D) costs with Engineering leads to ensure best-in-class cost is attained</li><li>
Manage vehicle budget for the commodities being sourced in collaboration with Rivian Finance team</li><li>
Work closely alongside Program Management to support prototype requirements, execute against build milestones and track sourcing progress</li><li>
Support Supplier Quality plant audits and technical reviews</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Engineering</li><li>
3+ years of relevant experience</li><li>
Effective negotiation experience specific to connectors, connectors, grommets, brackets, clips and channels</li><li>
Good analytical skills with an experience on MS Excel, SQL, and Tableau</li><li>
Good interpersonal and communications skills</li><li>
Ability to pivot quickly as per the business needs</li><li>
High level of integrity</li><li>
Analytical skills to ensure both internal and external requests are fulfilled</li><li>
Attention to detail to ensure specifications being requested are received</li><li>
Ability to work independently, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Experience with automotive, electronics or software/ hardware suppliers is a plus</li></ul>
Pay Disclosure:

Salary Range for California Based Applicants:</b> $107,800 - $134,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).<br>

<div>The <b>Lead L&amp;D Program Manager, EHS&amp;S</b> is the key learning partner for environmental health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across our Normal, IL manufacturing plant. You&rsquo;ll drive scalable, high-impact training programs that improve frontline safety behaviors, enhance compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and embed a proactive safety culture. This role blends strategic program design with hands-on facilitation, partnering closely with shop leadership and EHS&amp;S subject matter experts to ensure safety excellence across Battery, Plastics, Paint, GA, and beyond.<br>

Conduct gap analyses and stakeholder interviews to identify safety training priorities and KPIs.</li><li>
Partner with EHS&amp;S, Operations, and Enterprise L&amp;D to ensure alignment, coordination, and impact.</li></ul><div><b>
Learning Design &amp; Delivery</b></div><ul><li>
Design and deploy digital and live training experiences using adult learning theory.</li><li>
Author e-learning modules, simulations, and safety briefings using Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and Synthesia.</li><li>
Deliver New Hire Orientation safety content and facilitate key in-person sessions.</li><li>
Certify and manage a bench of internal safety trainers across shifts.</li></ul><div><b>
Measurement &amp; Compliance</b></div><ul><li>
Track compliance across OSHA-mandated programs and internal training protocols.</li><li>
Manage LMS assignments and completions (RLN platform) in coordination with Enterprise L&amp;D.</li><li>
Monitor feedback, issue evaluations, and iterate for effectiveness and engagement.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

5+ years in EHS&amp;S and L&amp;D roles in a manufacturing environment</li><li>
Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory frameworks</li><li>
Strong technical knowledge of plant processes and safety risks</li><li>
Proficiency in instructional design, facilitation, and learning evaluation</li><li>
Advanced project management and stakeholder influence skills</li><li>
Familiarity with LMS systems and course authoring tools</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred</b></div><ul><li>
Experience in Lean Manufacturing environments</li><li>
Multilingual (Spanish/French)</li><li>
Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST)</li><li>
