Chief Operating Officer (COO) Position Overview We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee day to day administrative and operational functions of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO ensures the company executes its strategy efficiently, drives operational scalability, and maintains a high performance culture across all departments. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Management <ul><li>Oversee Daily Operations: Direct and control all day to day activities across critical departments, including Operations, HR, IT, and other core business functions.</li><li>Process Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously monitor standardized procedures and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity across the organization.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate key operational risks to ensure compliance, business continuity, and organizational stability.</li></ul> Strategic Planning & Execution <ul><li>Strategy Implementation: Translate the CEO's long term vision and strategic goals into clear, actionable operational plans and departmental targets.</li><li>Performance Monitoring: Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, reporting performance insights to the CEO and recommending corrective actions.</li><li>Growth & Scalability: Lead initiatives that build the necessary infrastructure, technology, and organizational structure to support sustainable company growth.</li></ul> Financial & Resource Stewardship <ul><li>Budget Oversight: Collaborate with the CFO to manage the company's operating budget, controlling expenses and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and profit margins.</li><li>Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate internal resources (personnel, technology, and capital) effectively to ensure all strategic projects and operations are fully supported.</li></ul> Talent & Culture Development <ul><li>Leadership Mentorship: Mentor and guide department heads and the senior leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous professional development.</li><li>Culture Champion: Act as a champion for the company's core values, ensuring the internal culture supports high performance and drives overall employee engagement and retention.</li></ul> Required Skills & Qualifications Experience & Executive Skills <ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of progressive leadership experience.</li><li>Operational Expertise: Proven track record in scaling operations, driving organizational efficiency, and managing complex cross departmental functions.</li><li>Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor senior management, lead large teams, and foster a culture of accountability and high performance.</li><li>Process Knowledge: Expert knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and strategic planning frameworks.</li></ul> Education & Certification <ul><li>Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant Certifications: Certifications in Executive Leadership, Strategic Management, or Process Improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are highly beneficial.</li></ul> What We Offer <ul><li>Strategic Impact: Opportunity to directly influence and execute the company's core business strategy alongside the CEO and Board.</li><li>Executive Leadership: The chance to lead and mentor a high caliber team across all major operational units.</li><li>Collaborative Culture: A collaborative team culture focused on innovation and learning.</li><li>Flexibility: Remote working options.</li></ul>
