<div></div><div>We are seeking a highly motivated Buyer at our Zelienople, PA facility. This team member will be a part of our purchasing department and will be actively involved with our production team. This employee will report to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager.</div>
<div></div><div><b>What you&rsquo;ll do</b></div>
<ul><li>Issue purchase orders (POs) for bill of material (BOM) items in addition to shop and maintenance related expenditures.</li>
<li>Issue POs to vendors/suppliers for service-related work such as painting, machining, fabrication, etc.</li>
<li>Track PO receipts to ensure customer sales orders are shipped within agreed upon timelines as well as to achieve compliance of vendor on time delivery goals.</li>
<li>Obtain multiple quotes from vendor/suppliers for competitive pricing purposes.</li>
<li>Challenge suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing is being provided to the company.</li>
<li>Maintain purchase order price verification to allow accurate receipt and timely payment.</li>
<li>Maintain positive vendor relationships to ensure the best product quality and delivery.</li>
<li>Collect and maintain mill test reports (MTRs) for quality assurance and engineering requirements.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>What you&rsquo;ll bring</b></div>
<ul><li>A minimum of three years of purchasing experience is required.</li>
<li>Associate degree required; bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Epicor preferred.</li>
<li>Prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Office products.</li>
<li>The ability to review and understand CAD drawings.</li>
