Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Lead Teacher to oversee and support the development of young children in our early childhood education center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing children, fostering a positive learning environment, and guiding a team of assistant teachers. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth and learning during their formative years.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.</li><li>Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers, ensuring effective classroom management and adherence to safety protocols.</li><li>Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from infants to preschool age, including toddler care.</li><li>Observe and assess children's developmental progress, communicating with parents about milestones and concerns.</li><li>Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, including first aid procedures.</li><li>Manage classroom activities to promote social-emotional development, behavior management, and positive interactions among children.</li><li>Coordinate daily routines such as meal times, nap schedules, and outdoor play.</li><li>Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention when necessary.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental progress reports.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, staff, and community partners.</li><li>Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes learning through play and exploration.</li><li>Experience with infants through preschool-aged children, including toddler care.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining professionalism.</li><li>Prior experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous.
