<div>OBJECTIVE OF THIS POSITION

The Production Scheduler will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operations for Ohio Facilities

<ul><li>Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with customer Service, logistics, and manufacturing departments.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Negotiates with outside supply vendors; ensures accurate and timely delivery of orders.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintains master distribution schedule for all facilities; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Use overall plant performance to expected metrics as tool to monitor scheduling sequence improvement performance.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Investigate production issues as they arise; work with plant operations to develop and execute action plans for resolution.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Work with Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager to implement process improvement, methods improvement, and problem-solving activities to improve productivity and reduce cost (Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods to minimum levels)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Evaluate upgrade of systems, processes and equipment to meet the needs of plant scheduling.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performs other related duties, as required.</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>At least Three years of related experience required.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong computer skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Proficient in MS Office.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Advanced knowledge of Excel</li></ul>
<ul><li>Power BI preferred</li></ul>
