Job Summary / Objective</b></div>
<div>The Marketing &amp; Communications Associate is responsible for supporting the Roswell Marine Marketing Department through communications, reporting and day-to-day operations. This position plays a critical role in developing written marketing communications, maintaining departmental organization, managing reporting systems, and providing administrative support.</div><br>
<p><b>Essential Job Functions and Duties</b></p>
<ul><li>Marketing Reporting &amp; Analytics</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly marketing reports across all channels, including:</li>
<li>Social media performance (in coordination with external digital partners)</li>
<li>Email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates)</li>
<li>Advertising placements and impressions</li>
<li>Website and campaign performance</li>
<li>Compile and track all marketing initiatives into a centralized reporting system, reflecting a full &ldquo;agency-style&rdquo; view of marketing efforts</li>
<li>Maintain and update a monthly marketing analytics dashboard, ensuring completion by the first Friday of each month</li>
<li>Collect and organize reporting inputs from internal team members and external marketing partners</li>
<li>Marketing Communications</li>
<li>Write, edit, and prepare marketing communications including:</li>
<li>Newsletters (eCRM)</li>
<li>Blog posts</li>
<li>Press releases</li>
<li>Promotional campaigns and announcements</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to gather information and ensure accuracy of communications</li>
<li>Work closely with the Graphic Designer to produce finalized, on-brand marketing materials</li>
<li>Ensure all communications are completed and distributed on schedule</li>
<li>Marketing Operations &amp; Organization</li>
<li>Audit, organize, and maintain the Marketing Department&rsquo;s Google Drive and file structure, including:</li>
<li>Marketing assets (photos, videos, creative files)</li>
<li>Reports and dashboards</li>
<li>Campaign documentation and archives</li>
<li>Establish and maintain scalable systems for document organization and version control</li>
<li>Ensure all marketing resources are easily accessible and properly maintained for internal use</li>
<li>Budget Tracking &amp; Administrative Support</li>
<li>Track monthly marketing budget actuals, invoices, and departmental spend</li>
<li>Maintain organized records of marketing expenses and supporting documentation</li>
<li>Provide administrative support to the Director of Marketing &amp; Business Development, including:</li>
<li>Calendar management and meeting coordination</li>
<li>Travel planning and logistics</li>
<li>Task tracking and prioritization support</li>
<li>Act as a second set of eyes to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and internal requests are completed on time</li>
<li>Departmental Support</li>
<li>Support the Marketing Coordinator and broader marketing team with organizational and operational needs</li>
<li>Assist in preparing documentation, tracking materials, and supporting execution of marketing initiatives</li>
<li>Provide internal coordination to ensure alignment across marketing efforts</li>
</ul><div><b>Minimum Skills &amp; Abilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on professional and creative writing</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, interpret, and present data clearly</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Proactive, self-motivated, and highly dependable</li>

</ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field required</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in:</li>
<li>Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)</li>
<li>Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)</li>
<li>Strong writing ability required (portfolio or examples preferred)</li>
<li>Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy</li>
<li>Excellent people and communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary to the success of this position</li>
<li>Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR)</li>
<li>Physical Requirements:</li>
<li>Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally</li>
<li>Must be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary</li>
<li>This is a safety sensitive position</li>
</ul><p><b>Preferred Education and Experience</b></p>
<ul><li>Internship or prior experience in marketing, communications, or administrative support</li>
<li>Background in journalism, creative writing, or communications strongly preferred</li>
<li>Familiarity with WordPress or content management systems is a plus</li>
<li>Basic understanding of SEO principles is a plus</li>
<li>Marine, boating, or action sports industry experience or interest is a plus</li>
</ul><p><b>Additional Eligibility Requirements</b></p>
<p>Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR)</p>

<div>Normal Office Hours 8AM &ndash; 4:30 PM Monday &ndash; Friday</div>
