With every project, we aim to inspire, entertain, and give back, while creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and partners.Position SummaryWe are looking for a customer service oriented, organized, professional individual, who is outgoing, fun and reliable. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, has a polished phone presence, and is able to write clear &amp; accurate notes. We are seeking a person with fine dining experience &amp; knowledge of OPEN TABLE software, preferably.Responsibilities<ul><li>Welcome guests to the venue.</li><li>Manage reservations.</li><li>Escort customers to assigned dining or lounge or bar areas.</li><li>Provide menus and introduce server and Rotation concept</li><li>Greet customers upon their departure.</li><li>Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.</li><li>Maintain a clean reception area.</li><li>Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries.</li><li>Assist wait staff as needed.</li><li>Host/Hostess will also support promotional activities and sales events.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager</li></ul>Pay Rate $18-$23/hrMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred.</li><li>Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress.</li><li>Understanding of restaurant etiquette.</li><li>Familiarity with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Experience in managing reservations.</li><li>Demonstrable customer-service skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.</li><li>Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.</li></ul>Physical Requirements/Work Environment<ul><li>Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time</li><li>Ability and desire to work extended hours of operation</li><li>Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays</li></ul>The above information is representative of the work performed in this position; however it is not all-inclusive.
