Position Summary

We are looking for a customer service oriented, organized, professional individual, who is outgoing, fun and reliable. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, has a polished phone presence, and is able to write clear & accurate notes. We are seeking a person with fine dining experience & knowledge of OPEN TABLE software, preferably.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the venue.
  • Manage reservations.
  • Escort customers to assigned dining or lounge or bar areas.
  • Provide menus and introduce server and Rotation concept
  • Greet customers upon their departure.
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
  • Maintain a clean reception area.
  • Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries.
  • Assist wait staff as needed.
  • Host/Hostess will also support promotional activities and sales events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Pay Rate $18-$23/hr

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred.
  • Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress.
  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing reservations.
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area.
  • Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Ability and desire to work extended hours of operation
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays

Base Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
