Roto-Rooter Services Company seeks a results-driven <b>Collections Supervisor</b> to lead a <b>high-volume water mitigation insurance collections team </b>at the corporate home office, located in downtown, Cincinnati. This on-site, hands-on role is responsible for supervising daily outbound and inbound insurance follow-up activities, assist the team on resolving unpaid and denied claims, and drive individual and team performance through coaching and training.
</p><p>The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years leadership experience, a background in collections, some knowledge of insurance claims, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
</p><p>This role will provide an annual salary between $52,000-$56,000, depending on experience. You will also be provided company-paid parking in a nearby parking facility.</p>
Responsibilities:

Essential Skills &amp; Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Supervise, coach and motivate a growing team of collections specialists in a fast-paced environment to meet and exceed collection goals.</li><li>
Monitor daily collection activity and follow up to ensure processes are being followed and results are achieved within company expectations.</li><li>
Enforce company A/R and collections policies, procedures and best practices.</li><li>
Oversee insurance claim follow-up, denial resolution, and customer payments.</li><li>
Monitor and manage escalated collections accounts, including complex or high-dollar claims</li><li>
Professionally partner with our local operations in multiple locations and a joint in-house team.</li><li>
Assist with hiring, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.</li><li>
Prepare and deliver daily &amp; weekly performance reports to management.</li><li>
Highly motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, strong communication skills</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred</li><li>
2-4 years experience in collections, preferably with homeowner's insurance, including 1&ndash;2 years in a supervisory or lead role</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) and Excel</li><li>
Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills</li></ul><br>

First year Roto-Rooter service technicians can expect top-pay, earning $50,000-$60,000 on average. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.</p><p></p><p><br>
