Roy Miller Freight Lines a California LTL Motor Freight Carrier, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Supervisor to work in our San Jose, CA Service Center office.Job DescriptionLTL Outbound PM Supervisor / DispatcherResponsibilities will include:<ul><li>LTL Driver Dispatch, monitor driver progress</li><li>Supervise Outbound LTL Cross Dock Operation and assist with loading / unloading as required</li><li>Ensure Safety Compliance</li><li>Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed</li><li>Timely dispatching of LTL loads (Afternoon Dispatcher)</li><li>Complete Pick Ups and Deliveries as needed</li><li>Interpret, implement, and enforce Service Center Work Instructions and Company policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager</li></ul>Desired Skills and Experience:<ul><li>Candidates must have proven leadership experience and the ability to lead in a fast paced environment (preferably in LTL).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem solving abilities</li><li>Knowledge of all aspects of ensuring quality freight handling techniques preferred</li><li>Must have computer skills, AS400, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products</li><li>Knowledge of the City and surrounding areas</li><li>Forklift / Pallet Jack Experience</li><li>Possessing a Valid Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License Class A (preferred)</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance</li><li>401 (k) Retirement Plan</li><li>Paid Vacation and Holidays</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday - Friday</li><li>Average 10 Hour Shifts (Subject to change)</li><li>11am Start (Subject to change)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>San Jose, CA 95112 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>San Jose, CA 95112: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
