This role is hands-on and requires experience in service-based or rental businesses, with a strong understanding of job costing, recurring billing, and multi-entity or multi-location operations. <div><ul><li><div>Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations</div>

</div><div><ul><li><div>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements</div>

</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li><div>Monitor job costing and profitability by project, customer, and service type</div></li></ul></div><br>

<div><ul><li><div>Oversee payroll processing and ensure correct coding of labor costs</div>

</div><div><ul><li><div>Track and manage equipment-related expenses and depreciation</div>

<div><ul><li><div>Ensure compliance with GAAP, local and state tax requirements, and applicable regulations</div>

</div><div><ul><li><div>Coordinate sales tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, if applicable</div>

</div><div><ul><li><div>Assist with audits, insurance reviews, and external accountant requests</div>
</li></ul>

</div><div><ul><li><div>5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities</div>

</div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting</div>
</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li><div>Experience with service-based, construction, or rental businesses preferred</div>
</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li><div>Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar ERP systems)</div>
</li></ul>
</div><div><ul><li><div>Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail</div></li></ul></div><br>
