Position Summary:</b></h4><p>
The Golf Course Halfway House Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient food and beverage service to members and guests at the Cabana/Halfway House. This seasonal position plays an important role in enhancing the member experience by maintaining a well-stocked Cabana, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.</p>
<h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></h4><ul><li>
Serve beverages, including beer, wine, and premixed cocktails, in accordance with Illinois liquor laws</li><li>
Prepare and serve light food items such as grilled items and snacks</li><li>
Restock beverages, snacks, condiments, and supplies throughout the day</li><li>
Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including counters, equipment, and outdoor seating areas</li><li>
Operate the pointofsale system and handle transactions accurately</li><li>
Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs</li><li>
Follow opening and closing procedures</li><li>
Work independently and proactively&mdash;anticipate needs and take initiative</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements:</b></h4><ul><li>
Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to serve alcohol in the state of Illinois</li><li>
Prior food service or bartending experience preferred</li><li>
Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor</li><li>
Excellent attention to cleanliness and detail</li><li>
Selfmotivated and able to work without direct supervision</li><li>
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.</li><li>
Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings and weekends</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
