Job Title: Golf Course Halfway House Attendant

Reports To: Food & Beverage Director / Clubhouse Manager

Employment Type: Seasonal

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older

Position Summary:

The Golf Course Halfway House Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient food and beverage service to members and guests at the Cabana/Halfway House. This seasonal position plays an important role in enhancing the member experience by maintaining a well-stocked Cabana, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring responsible alcohol service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve beverages, including beer, wine, and premixed cocktails, in accordance with Illinois liquor laws
  • Prepare and serve light food items such as grilled items and snacks
  • Restock beverages, snacks, condiments, and supplies throughout the day
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including counters, equipment, and outdoor seating areas
  • Operate the pointofsale system and handle transactions accurately
  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs
  • Follow opening and closing procedures
  • Work independently and proactively—anticipate needs and take initiative

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to serve alcohol in the state of Illinois
  • Prior food service or bartending experience preferred
  • Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
  • Excellent attention to cleanliness and detail
  • Selfmotivated and able to work without direct supervision
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work evenings and weekends

Certifications:

  • BASSET Certification

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: Hourly based on experience plus service charge, gratuity, incentives
