Overview Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA), where you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a licensed child care facility. As an LCCA, you will coordinate staff, implement policies, and maintain compliance with licensing standards, all while fostering a positive community atmosphere. Your leadership will directly influence the growth and well-being of children and staff alike, making a meaningful difference in families&rsquo; lives every day.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the overall daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.</li><li>Develop, implement, and monitor residents treatment plans</li><li>Supervise and support staff members, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and promoting a collaborative team environment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies to maintain accreditation and high-quality care.</li><li>Coordinate with families and DFPS to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong relationships built on trust and transparency.</li><li>Facilitate ongoing staff training in areas such as medication administration, social work practices, and other relevant fields.</li><li>Implement safety protocols for emergency situations and conduct regular safety audits of the facility.</li><li>Maintain detailed documentation related to children's development, incident reports, care plans, and licensing requirements.</li><li>Promote an inclusive environment that supports diversity and encourages positive social interactions among children from varied backgrounds.</li><li>Engage with community resources to enhance program offerings and support services for children with special needs or those requiring home &amp; community care.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid licensure as a Child Care Administrator (LCCA) or equivalent certification recognized by local regulatory agencies.</li><li>Proven management experience in early child care settings; supervisory experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of licensing standards for RTC facilities along with health &amp; safety regulations.</li><li>Experience working with children requiring specialized care.</li><li>Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual children's needs.</li><li>Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Effective communication skills for engaging with families, staff members, licensing authorities, and community partners.</li><li>Background in social work or home &amp; community care is advantageous for supporting diverse family needs.</li><li>Join us in shaping bright futures by providing exceptional child care through dedicated leadership!
