Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA), where you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a licensed child care facility. As an LCCA, you will coordinate staff, implement policies, and maintain compliance with licensing standards, all while fostering a positive community atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Manage the overall daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor residents treatment plans
- Supervise and support staff members, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies to maintain accreditation and high-quality care.
- Coordinate with families and DFPS to communicate progress, address concerns, and foster strong relationships built on trust and transparency.
- Facilitate ongoing staff training in areas such as medication administration, social work practices, and other relevant fields.
- Implement safety protocols for emergency situations and conduct regular safety audits of the facility.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to children's development, incident reports, care plans, and licensing requirements.
- Promote an inclusive environment that supports diversity and encourages positive social interactions among children from varied backgrounds.
- Engage with community resources to enhance program offerings and support services for children with special needs or those requiring home & community care.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Child Care Administrator (LCCA) or equivalent certification recognized by local regulatory agencies.
- Proven management experience in early child care settings; supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of licensing standards for RTC facilities along with health & safety regulations.
- Experience working with children requiring specialized care.
- Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual children's needs.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with families, staff members, licensing authorities, and community partners.
- Background in social work or home & community care is advantageous for supporting diverse family needs.
