About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the educational journey of fifth-grade students, fostering their
 
growth in core subjects while encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. You will be
 
responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and challenging learning environment that meets the diverse
 
needs of all students.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Develop and implement an engaging Grade 5 curriculum aligned with state standards.
</li><li>Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
</li><li>Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
</li><li>Maintain a well-managed and respectful classroom environment.
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>Required: Valid 020 Certification (Elementary/Intermediate Education).
</li><li>Prior experience teaching at the elementary or intermediate level is highly desirable.
</li><li>Strong content knowledge in Grade 5 subjects (especially ELA &amp; Social Studies).
</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.
</li><li>A commitment to ongoing professional development.
</li></ul>Proper Maine DOE certification and background check required for all positions
