This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service talents in a fast-paced, vibrant environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing</li><li>Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations</li><li>Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in accordance with health and safety standards</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address special dietary requests or catering needs</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service in fine dining or nightclub settings</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously without sacrificing quality</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a welcoming atmosphere</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing procedures</li><li>Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations</li><li>Experience with catering events or banquet service is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for sales upselling opportunities</li><li>Knowledge of brewing techniques or the food industry is advantageous for enhancing guest experience</li></ul>This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively environments.
