Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space in accordance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address special dietary requests or catering needs
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service in fine dining or nightclub settings

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously without sacrificing quality
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing procedures
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience with catering events or banquet service is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for sales upselling opportunities
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or the food industry is advantageous for enhancing guest experience
