Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roll-Off Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic team. Expertise in roll-off dumpster trucks as well as other commercial vehicles and mechanical/maintenance knowledge will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable delivery and pickup services.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate roll-off trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload containers/material</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met</li><li>Drive heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, over 21 is preferred</li><li>Load, secure, transport, and unload materials efficiently while maintaining proper load balance and safety protocols</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly</li><li>Assist in yard activities such as unloading customers, loading material, maintenance of both equipment and the facility</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license specific to roll-off trucks and heavy-duty vehicles</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as front loaders, rear loaders, straight trucks, and tractor-trailers</li><li>Ability to perform manual lifting of heavy loads safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes</li><li>Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles with precision and control</li><li>Knowledge of load securing techniques to prevent shifting or damage during transit</li><li>Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, adherence to traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques</li><li>Experience in delivery operations involving load &amp; unload procedures for bulk materials or waste management</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re ready to take your driving career to the next level!
