What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></div><div></div><ul><li><br>
Inspect facilities for cleanliness, completed work, and maintenance needs.</li><li>Supervise custodial staff during shifts and monitor overall performance.</li><li>Plan, assign, and oversee daily cleaning tasks and minor projects.</li><li>Enforce department policies, procedures, and safety standards.</li><li>Maintain and monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.</li><li>Prepare reports on work activities and operational needs.</li><li>Support hiring efforts, including assisting with interviews and staff selection.</li><li>Partner with management to ensure proper staffing levels and scheduling.</li><li>Assist with budgeting for staff, equipment, and supplies as needed.</li><li>Perform hands-on custodial duties, including cleaning, restocking, and maintaining facility standards.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></div><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of custodial/housekeeping experience.</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of supervisory experience or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).</li><li>Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices.</li><li>Proven ability to lead, train, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Strong communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn systems such as ADP.</li><li>Ability to build positive working relationships with team members and guests.</li><li>Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly.</li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a busy environment.</li><li>Willingness to learn and follow company policies, procedures, and state regulations.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

JOB SUMMARY</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
Seeking a hospitality professional with strengths in safety and security for the position of Security Officer here at Running Aces Casino Hotel and Racetrack from Late April to mid-September of 2024. This position is responsible for patrolling casino floor, outside perimeter, barns, and the hotel premises to maintain order, enforce regulations and ensure observance of applicable laws.</b></p><p><b><br>
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES</b></p><p></p><p><b><br>
The primary responsibilities for the Security Officer include but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Patrolling lobbies, corridors, guest rooms, and other hotel areas, confers with management, interviews guests and employees.</b></li><li><b>
Administrative duties, which will include writing incident reports, logs, accident reports, lost and found reports</b></li><li><b>
Responding to calls for service when needed.</b></li><li><b>
Responsible for all lost and found items for the casino and hotel.</b></li><li><b>
Investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalisms, accidents, illness, violations of policies, and any other loss related event.</b></li><li><b>
Patrolling casino and hotel areas to detect/report and/or control fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment.</b></li><li><b>
Responding to, controls, provides and obtaining assistance for victims of accidents and/or illness. Also reports on such in documentation.</b></li><li><b>
Notifying staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.</b></li><li><b>
Assisting management and law enforcement officers in emergency situations.</b></li><li><b>
Completing daily logs and incident reports.</b></li><li><b>
Conducting daily key inventories and reports and variances.</b></li><li><b>
Responding to alarm notifications.</b></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
JOB QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p><b>
In addition to performance of key responsibilities, this position may be required to possess a combination of the following skills and experiences:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with a team.</b></li><li><b>
Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.</b></li><li><b>
Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both verbally and in writing. A second language is desirable.</b></li><li><b>
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs + on a regular and continuous basis.</b></li><li><b>
Thorough knowledge of safety and security procedures.</b></li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
