The Consignment Manager/Buyer will be tasked with working with sellers who want to list and sell their RV. Core responsibilities may include cold calling, messaging online, physically inspecting RVs to determine their market value, examining their physical condition, safety, and functionality. Gathering information on RV&rsquo;s to determine their market value, such as pricing data, comparable sales and other factors, while also looking for the opportunity for &ldquo;out-right buys&rdquo; or trades when necessary. Then using this information to explain the consignment process and findings to customers, including potential buyers, sellers, insurance companies, or estate administrators.Personal Characteristics, Skills and Knowledge&#9679; Puts the seller first &ndash; Anticipates seller needs, advocates for the seller, and acts with sellers in mind; exceeds sellers&rsquo; expectations and gains their trust and respect&#9679; Clear and concise communication &ndash; Communicates clearly and directly, is approachable, relates well to others, engages sellers and helps them understand the process, provides and seeks feedback, articulates clearly, and actively listens&#9679; Achieves results through teamwork &ndash; Is open to diverse ideas, works inclusively and collaboratively, holds self and others accountable, and involves others to accomplish individual and team goals&#9679; Executes with excellence &ndash; Is action oriented, drives for results, sets clear expectations and milestones, reviews progress, acts decisively, solves problems, and can be counted on to consistently meet or exceed goals&#9679; Attention to detail &ndash; Has ability to thoroughly inspect RVs and document all relevant information&#9679; Market analysis skills &ndash; Capability to research and interpret market data to accurately assess RV values&#9679; RV expertise &ndash; Deep understanding of different RV types (motorhomes, travel trailers/bumper pulls, fifth wheels), their features, and common maintenance issues&#9679; Mechanical knowledge &ndash; Basic understanding of RV systems like engines, plumbing, electrical components and chassis&#9679; Market analysis skills &ndash; Ability to research and interpret market data to accurately assess RV valuesKey Responsibilities&#9679; Working and maintaining communication with possible sellers to encourage them to sell their RV&rsquo;s through consignment or to sell their vehicle out-right&#9679; Providing accurate appraisal for purposes like insurance claims and buying or selling the RV, while staying updated on RV specific market dynamics and valuation methodologies&#9679; Thoroughly examining RVs, including the exterior, interior, mechanical components, and features to identify any damage, wear and tear, or modifications&#9679; Applying appropriate valuation methodologies to determine the fair market value of an RV based on its condition, age, mileage, and features&#9679; Documenting detailed appraisal reports with supporting data, photos, and justifications for determined value&#9679; Providing trade numbers for the sales staff who are working deals&#9679; Documenting all customer contacts in the database including walk-in customers, and setting appraisal appointments&#9679; Maintain monthly contact with your consignment customers on traffic or interest, any concerns, pricing issues, sale recommendations, etc.&#9679; Following listed vehicles through the entire listing process, including but not limited to any cleaning and service requests&#9679; Negotiating with sellers to achieve an acceptable selling price on their unit&#9679; Completing and processing all needed paperwork for RV listings&#9679; Conducting quality checks of any detail work completed on vehiclesJob Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Panama City, FL 32404 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Panama City, FL 32404: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
