This customer-facing role serves as a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, pharmacists, and the on-site team, ensuring accurate, timely service while delivering an exceptional patient experience.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer incoming patient and provider phone calls professionally and efficiently.</li><li>Provide exceptional customer service while assisting with prescription questions, refill requests, and order updates.</li><li>Enter and update patient and prescription information accurately.</li><li>Process digital faxes and electronic prescription communications.</li><li>Communicate with providers regarding prescription information and documentation.</li><li>Coordinate with pharmacists and on-site staff to ensure timely resolution of patient needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records while complying with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Current Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure is required.</li><li>Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail, specialty, compounding, or mail-order pharmacy.</li><li>Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.</li><li>Experience with PioneerRx preferred; experience with comparable pharmacy management systems is also welcome.</li><li>Experience using RingCentral or similar cloud-based phone systems is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication, customer service, and phone etiquette.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Previous remote work experience is helpful but not required.</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Work from home between the hours of 9am &ndash; 6pm Monday thru Friday.</li><li>Company-issued laptop and secure remote access provided.</li><li>Initial training completed on-site.</li><li>Required on-site attendance approximately two days per month for team meetings, training, and collaboration.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$18-20/hr commensurate with experience</li><li>Full-time or part-time opportunity available</li><li>Opportunity to work with an established nationally accredited compounding pharmacy.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you willing to work on-site in Chester and/or Short Pump for training, meetings and other events as needed (approximately 2 days per month)?</li><li>How many prescriptions do you enter into a pharmacy system on an average shift?</li><li>How much experience do you have processing prescription insurance claims and resolving claim rejections in a pharmacy setting?</li><li>Are you currently registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy?</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, VA 23233
