This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform detailed diagnostics on small engines and power equipment using schematics and technical manuals.</li><li>Repair and overhaul engines, including carburetor adjustments, ignition systems, fuel systems, and electrical components.</li><li>Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs efficiently.</li><li>Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups to extend equipment lifespan.</li><li>Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.</li><li>Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation for all repairs performed.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to clients.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in dealership or service technician roles specializing in small engine repair or similar automotive/equipment repair fields.</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, diesel engine repair, generator repair, and vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.</li><li>Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or other heavy machinery is a plus.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using technical manuals or schematics.</li><li>Customer service skills to effectively communicate repairs and maintenance recommendations.
