They're the foundation.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to grow into a cornerstone role at SAAVI Solutions. You'll start at approximately 25 hours per week with a clear path to 35&ndash;40 hours within 30&ndash;60 days based on your progress and the firm's growth.This is not just an accounting job. Over time, we want this person to help operate the business &mdash; someone who can eventually run the day-to-day so the founder can focus on growth, relationships, and vision. You'll bring financial clarity and operational confidence to businesses including:<ul><li>General contracting &amp; construction (residential, commercial, industrial)</li><li>Coaching &amp; personal development (life coaches, business coaches, career coaches)</li><li>Creative professionals (designers, photographers, web developers, artists, writers)</li><li>Entrepreneurs &amp; startups across various service industries</li></ul>Familiarity with the nuances of these industries &mdash; job costing, project-based revenue, variable cash flow &mdash; is a meaningful advantage.What You'll DoClient Management<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing responsive, high-quality communication</li><li>Build trusted relationships that reflect SAAVI's commitment to personalized service</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Client Onboarding &amp; Team Operations Specialist on smooth client transitions and ongoing operations</li></ul>Team Oversight<ul><li>Supervise and support the bookkeeping staff, reviewing work for accuracy and consistency</li><li>Provide guidance, mentorship, and accountability to keep the team performing at a high level</li><li>Help build and refine internal processes as the firm scales</li></ul>Accounting &amp; Financial Operations<ul><li>Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients across service-based industries</li><li>Execute and oversee cash-to-accrual conversions with accuracy and confidence</li><li>Prepare and review financial reports, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes</li><li>Support financial forecasting and cash flow analysis for clients and internal operations</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and workflows</li></ul>What We're Looking ForRequired<ul><li>3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience</li><li>Demonstrated ability to convert financial records from cash to accrual basis</li><li>Proficiency in QuickBooks Online &mdash; required; you'll be working in it daily</li><li>Payroll processing experience &mdash; you will own this for clients</li><li>Strong communication skills &mdash; you will be client-facing, often as the first point of contact</li><li>Experience managing or mentoring junior bookkeeping/accounting staff</li><li>High level of adaptability &mdash; our clients span industries and our firm is actively scaling</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience with Bill.com, Ramp, and/or Gusto</li><li>Experience with financial forecasting and cash flow projections</li><li>Background working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, or service-based companies</li><li>Interest in operations and an appetite for growing into a business management role</li><li>Alignment with a values-driven, conscious approach to business</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Schedule<ul><li>$30&ndash;$35/hr depending on experience</li><li>Starting at approximately 20 hours per week</li><li>Path to 35&ndash;40 hours within 30&ndash;60 days based on demonstrated performance</li><li>Remote with flexible scheduling &mdash; we trust you to own your work</li><li>As SAAVI grows, so does this role: expanded hours, greater responsibility, and enhanced benefits are on the table for the right person</li></ul>Why SAAVIWe've thought intentionally about what it means to work here.
