The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to grow into a cornerstone role at SAAVI Solutions. You'll start at approximately 25 hours per week with a clear path to 35–40 hours within 30–60 days based on your progress and the firm's growth.

This is not just an accounting job. Over time, we want this person to help operate the business — someone who can eventually run the day-to-day so the founder can focus on growth, relationships, and vision. Our clients are founders and business owners across a range of service-based industries. You'll bring financial clarity and operational confidence to businesses including:

  • General contracting & construction (residential, commercial, industrial)
  • Coaching & personal development (life coaches, business coaches, career coaches)
  • Creative professionals (designers, photographers, web developers, artists, writers)
  • Entrepreneurs & startups across various service industries

Familiarity with the nuances of these industries — job costing, project-based revenue, variable cash flow — is a meaningful advantage.

What You'll Do

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing responsive, high-quality communication
  • Build trusted relationships that reflect SAAVI's commitment to personalized service
  • Collaborate closely with the Client Onboarding & Team Operations Specialist on smooth client transitions and ongoing operations

Team Oversight

  • Supervise and support the bookkeeping staff, reviewing work for accuracy and consistency
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and accountability to keep the team performing at a high level
  • Help build and refine internal processes as the firm scales

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients across service-based industries
  • Execute and oversee cash-to-accrual conversions with accuracy and confidence
  • Prepare and review financial reports, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
  • Support financial forecasting and cash flow analysis for clients and internal operations
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and workflows

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to convert financial records from cash to accrual basis
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online — required; you'll be working in it daily
  • Payroll processing experience — you will own this for clients
  • Strong communication skills — you will be client-facing, often as the first point of contact
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior bookkeeping/accounting staff
  • High level of adaptability — our clients span industries and our firm is actively scaling
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred

  • Experience with Bill.com, Ramp, and/or Gusto
  • Experience with financial forecasting and cash flow projections
  • Background working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, or service-based companies
  • Interest in operations and an appetite for growing into a business management role
  • Alignment with a values-driven, conscious approach to business

Compensation & Schedule

  • $30–$35/hr depending on experience
  • Starting at approximately 20 hours per week
  • Path to 35–40 hours within 30–60 days based on demonstrated performance
  • Remote with flexible scheduling — we trust you to own your work
