SABIS&reg; schools implement the proven, proprietary SABIS&reg; Educational System, which has been developed and refined for over 135 years.All students in the SABIS&reg; Network benefit from a long tradition of excellence in education, a reputation that is rooted in a well-developed philosophy that seeks to provide students with a top-quality education that prepares them to meet the challenges of a changing world.For more information about the SABIS&reg; Network, visit: www.sabis.net.Job PurposeEnsuring students&rsquo; success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS&reg; curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS&reg; teaching methods.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Teaching a class using the provided lesson plans (may also be asked to develop such plans based on the provided pacing charts as relevant and needed) for their subject(s) in order to be able to teach using the SABIS&reg; point system.</li><li>Marking exams related to the taught subject in accordance with the schedule and material provided by the department.</li><li>Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as needed.</li><li>Implementing the SABIS&reg; Point System to ensure an environment conducive to learning in the classroom.</li><li>Proctoring exams as needed while ensuring an adequate and properly managed test environment.</li><li>Providing support for the academically low-performing students through guidance and motivation to help them improve and reach their full potential.</li><li>Developing and/or following up on external exams preparation by going through previous exams as planned in the structured revision schedule (when applicable to specific grade levels).</li><li>Aiding in duties that may include testing students, substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for lunches and buses, controlling traffic (vehicles and people), and other administrative duties as assigned by the school management.</li><li>Preparing and participating in activity plans related to student life events such as but not limited to art, open houses, and physical education, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).</li><li>Attending training sessions when needed and as requested by the school management in order to enhance the understanding of the SABIS&reg; system and improve the overall performance of students.</li><li>Performing other related tasks or projects as they arise and as delegated by the school management.</li></ul>Ideal Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education or in a related field.</li><li>English Proficiency</li><li>1+ years of teaching experience</li><li>Professional behavior and ethical conduct</li><li>Delivering results</li><li>Continuous learning and improvement</li><li>Accountability and taking ownership</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person

SABIS&reg; schools implement the proven, proprietary SABIS&reg; Educational System, which has been developed and refined for over 135 years.All students in the SABIS&reg; Network benefit from a long tradition of excellence in education, a reputation that is rooted in a well-developed philosophy that seeks to provide students with a top-quality education that prepares them to meet the challenges of a changing world.For more information about the SABIS&reg; Network, visit: www.sabis.net.Job PurposeAssisting in all daily IT operations, including but not limited to asset maintenance, IT operation reporting and data entry, capacity planning, product evaluation and recommendation, hardware installation and troubleshooting, end-user and staff IT support and training, in accordance with business requirements and SABIS&reg; standards.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Understanding user requirements to enhance existing procedures and improve efficiency.</li><li>Developing new local solutions as requested.</li><li>Supporting the launch of new SABIS&reg; projects.</li><li>Training and inducing staff, students, and parents as needed.</li><li>Assisting in the following as needed:</li><li>Ensuring asset maintenance, including but not limited to:</li><li>Maintenance of all of the school&rsquo;s IT equipment on a regular basis</li><li>Repair of equipment based on need (e.g., computers, laptops, tablets)</li><li>Installation of application and software maintenance (MS Office, Outlook, and other Office applications as and when requested with approval)</li><li>Accurately documenting instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.</li><li>Evaluating and recommending hardware products for purchase.</li><li>Recommending, scheduling, and performing PC, hardware, and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.</li><li>Liaising with, and providing training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.</li><li>Troubleshooting end-user hardware, not limited to tablets and PCs.</li><li>Providing support in all daily IT operations.</li><li>Covering all IT aspects of the Interactive Learning System (ILS).</li></ul>Ideal Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or equivalent</li><li>English proficiency is required, local language is preferred</li><li>Database Management Systems</li><li>Problem-Solving Skills</li><li>Professional Behavior and Ethical Conduct</li><li>Communication Skills</li><li>Ability to work within a team</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
