Role SummaryWe are looking for a sharp, organized Administrative &amp; Billing Specialist to join our team in Hyattsville. This is a hybrid role designed for a professional who enjoys the variety of managing a front office while maintaining &quot;eagle-eye&quot; precision over our accounts receivable. You will be the face of our local operations and the engine behind our billing cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling &amp; Financial Support<ul><li>Full-Cycle Invoicing: Prepare and send out accurate invoices; ensure all billable hours or products are accounted for.</li><li>Collections &amp; AR: Monitor the aging report and perform polite but persistent follow-ups on outstanding Hyattsville-area and regional accounts.</li><li>Financial Integrity: Reconcile payments against bank statements and update [Software Name] daily.</li><li>Reporting: Assist management with monthly financial snapshots and revenue tracking.</li></ul>Administrative &amp; Local Operations<ul><li>Office Hub Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Hyattsville office, managing local vendors, mail, and deliveries.</li><li>Client Reception: Professionally handle incoming calls and greet clients or partners visiting the office.</li><li>Operational Support: Organize digital and physical files, ensuring compliance with MD record-keeping standards.</li><li>Meeting Logistics: Assist in coordinating local team meetings, including space prep and materials.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience; 1+ year of billing or light bookkeeping.</li><li>Location Knowledge: Familiarity with the Hyattsville/Prince George&rsquo;s County business landscape is a plus.</li><li>Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with e.g., QuickBooks.</li><li>The &quot;Switch&quot;: The ability to move seamlessly between a &quot;client-facing&quot; personality and a &quot;deep-focus&quot; billing mindset.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Opportunities for advancement</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Hyattsville, MD 20782
