Job Overview We are a growing small business seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions. This is a remote, part-time position ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and experienced with bookkeeping best practices.This is a work-from-home position but may require occasional in-person meetings.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online</li><li>Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments</li><li>Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable</li><li>Prepare and send invoices; follow up on outstanding payments</li><li>Process payroll or coordinate with payroll providers (if applicable)</li><li>Generate monthly financial reports (profit &amp; loss, balance sheet, cash flow)</li><li>Assist with budgeting and expense tracking</li><li>Prepare documentation for tax filing and work with external accountants as needed</li><li>Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role (2+ years)</li><li>Required: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online</li><li>Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles</li><li>Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet deadlines</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to work productively from home.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience working with small businesses</li><li>Familiarity with payroll processing and sales tax filings</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)</li></ul>Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: In person
